1000 People Undergo Free Health Screening In Accra Anyaa Sowutuom

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi, has embarked on free health screening for the people in his constituency.
The exercise was aimed at improving health situation amongst the people of his on this Christmas and New year festive occasion.
The exercise which aimed for checking over thousand(1000) of constituents for their individual health status were comprised with a team of Medical doctors, laboratory, physician assistants, and nurses.
Speaking in an interview with the journalists, Dr. Adomako Kissi stressed, being a Member of Parliament for the area it is his core mandate to ensure that his constituents are healthy enough since he is a Medical Doctor by profession and also health concuious.
Dr. Kissi explained that, in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, least Ghanaians forget that some diseases are also causing a health hazard to the people.
He stressed the need to tackle other diseases as well, saying that healthy people make a wealthy nation so while providing developmental projects, he must also seek their healthcare delivery.
On his part, the Chief of Anyaa Nii Charbukwei III, disclosed that the exercise is a big relief because many people had not undergone medical check-up to know their state.
"Many of people did not know they have BP or diabetes only to realize after the screening," the chief stated.
Nii Charbukwei III, expressed his happiness about the high turnout at the screening center and therefore commended Dr. Kissi for his kind gesture to his people.
Moreover, some of the beneficiaries and Assembly Woman of the area also expressed their gratitude to the MP for given them the opportunity to take proper care of themselves.
They indicated that they are going to put precaution measures to what they should eat or drink for proper care.
