Aggrieved residents of Anoma Wobie and Gyai Nkwanta in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region are lamenting over poor water system in their area which has become a challenge for them.

They complained that communities like Jei Keodua, Gyai Nkwanta, Anoma Wobie and many more all at the Awutu Senya West constituency in the Central Region have been denied access to potable water for the past few months and that is making life unbearable for them.

Speaking to Soireenew, they disclosed that the former Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West constituency, Nenyi George Andah provided the communities standing pipes a few months to the 2020 elections but have they have failed to function after the polls, a situation they see as tactics employed by the former MP to win the seat.

The aggrieved residents furthermore stated that they often wake up around dawn to search for water and have therefore appealed to the government and the current Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West Constituency Honorable Gazelle Agbotui Tetteh to come to their aid.

Meanwhile, Soireenews Reporter, Alex Donkoh in an interview with the sitting MP of Awutu Senya West constituency Honourable Gizella Agbotui Tetteh assured inhabitants she will do her possible best to solve the challenge following a petition during her 'Thank you Tour' in the Awutu Senya West Constituency.
