Akuapem North NDC Top Shot, Kofi Asante Donates Brand New Laptops To NDC In Eastern Region
The National Chairman of the NDC, Honourable Johnson Asiedu Nketia received the donation on behalf of the party and handed over to the Eastern Regional Chairman of the NDC, Dr Mark Oliver Kevor.
A leading member of the National Democratic Congress in the Akuapem North Constituency , Mr Kofi Agyei Asante has donated 35 brand new laptops to the region to be distributed to all the thirty-three (33) constituencies and the elections directorate of the Eastern Region.
The National Chairman of the NDC, Honourable Johnson Asiedu Nketia received the donation on behalf of the party and handed over to the Eastern Regional Chairman of the NDC, Dr Mark Oliver Kevor.
The NDC firebrand made the donation at Royal Bluemich Hotel to enhance the party’s activities in the constituencies and promised to donate logistics to the NDC to be used for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
In attendance were the Eastern Regional Chairman and his vices, regional secretary ,regional Organiser, and the Parliamentary candidate for Abukwa North Constituency, Mr Charles Darko Yeboah, popularly known as Ozay.
Mr Asante, while presenting the laptops to the NDC said the devices are expected to help the party in the constituencies execute its mandate in ensuring that H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Mr Charles Darko Yeboah including all Parliamentary candidates representing the party are elected into office in the upcoming general elections in December 2024.
"We are having a kind donation of 35 laptops. I personally want to donate them through the regional office of the party to be able to support the constituencies and the region.
"We know the task that lies ahead of us in the six months and beyond. As a party, certainly no party wins without the support of its members. In my own small way, I think I can do this to be able to help in the operations at the party offices to put us on firm ground to ensure that H.E. John Dramani Mahama wins, and also within our region, we should be able to secure more seats so we can have 100%.”
“It is my hope and expectation that we will put them into good use and ultimately, we will get the best outcome that we all expect in the upcoming elections," he advised.
Mr Asante called on Ghanaians to vote out the governing New Patriotic Party because they do not have Ghanaians at heart.
He was part of the reconciliation team chaired by the National Chairman of the NDC, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah to Abuakwa North Constituency to settle issues among the executives.
Mr Asante is also a member of the regional campaign team .
