Allied Health Professionals Quit Covid-19 Contact Tracing

The Coalition of Graduate Unemployed Allied Health Professionals (COAHP) says its members volunteering to do contact tracing and testing for Covid-19 in Ghana have withdrawn their services.

The Coalition cites unfair treatment that have been meted out to the 2017/2018 batch of Allied Health Professionals by the Ministry of Health as the reason for the decision.

“We will like to state equivocally that, this group of Allied Health Professionals has met all the requirements that qualify them to be recruited into the health services,” the COAHP said in a press statement.
