The Paramount Chief (Omanhene) of Kwahu Traditional Area in the Eastern Region, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, has commemorated the 4th anniversary of his accession to the stool with a thanksgiving service.
The religious ceremony which was heavily attended by the scores of people from various communities in Kwahu was organised by the Okwahu Council of Churches.
The event was organised at the at the forecourt of Omanhene Palace in Abene under the Chairmanship of Deasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II was themed; "Repositioning of Okwahuman For Total Development Through Thanksgiving of God's People.
Speaking at the event, the Nkawkaw Area Head of Church of Pentecost (COP) who doubles as Chairman of Ghana Pentecostal Churches Council (GPCC), Prophet Foster K. Aniakwa expressed gratitude to God for giving the people of Kwahu the good natural environment.
The man of God advised the people of Kwahu to join hands in protecting their water bodies, forest reserve and their lands for future purposes.
Additionally, Prophet Foster K. Aniakwa
called on his fellow pastors to focus on the social welfare of the various traditional office holders (Nananom) in the area.
"I entreat you to be visiting their palace and create special ministry for them and always prayed for humility service to mankind by helping to chalk up successes in their reign," the man of God stressed.
In a brief address delivered on behalf of Kwahuhene, Nana Kwasi Ansong, Akwamuhene of Abene expressed gratitude to the clergy and the pastors for the huge attendance at the thanksgiving service as well as the people of Kwahu and prayed for the same support in the years ahead.
He used the occasion to encourage students in their education and advised the People of Kwahu to be united always in other to bring Development.
He urged them to live together in peace in order to engender peaceful environment to underscored the importance of development.
In a related story, the Nkawkaw Area Head of Church of Pentecost also donated a modern washroom facility" with all the necessary detergent worth GH¢ 134,240 which was handed over to Kwahu Omanhene at Kwahu Abene palace.

Prophet Foster K. Aniakwa noted that after a courtesy called on Kwahuhene's Palace with his team, they saw the necessity to build the "modern washroom facility" at the palace and the community of Kwahu Abene township to the glory of God.
