Ansu Fati has decided to play for Spain even though he is eligible for Portugal or Guinea Bissau.
The 16-year old Barcelona winger has revealed himself to be a remarkable world icon after impressive display in Barca’s Laliga games against Osasuna and Valencia. The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) convinced him to dedicate his future to Spain and according to reports; Fati is on the verge of receiving a call up for the U 17 World Cup tournament in Brazil between October 26 to November 17.
Although it’s not part of Barca’s plans to let him leave for International assignment in such a stage where the team is struggling to hit form. The departure of the 16 year old would miss five Laliga games against Eibar, Real Madrid, Valladolid, Levante and Celta as well as Champions League double-header against Slavia Praha.
