Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zacharriassen has admitted that the CAF Champions League was above Kotoko's level.

He revealed that the Porcupine Warriors can perform better in their 'descended' Confederations Cup.

The Norwegian speaking to Asante Kotoko Express App said, “The CAF Confederation Cup is our level at the moment, we are in Confederation Cup, I think that's the right level for us,"

He added, "We’ve got to be realistic, we’ve got to be realistic because we have only worked together for 3 months.”

The Porcupine Warriors were evicted in the CAF Champions League after a 3:0 defeat to Etoile Du Sahel of Tunisia despite winning the first leg 2:0 in Kumasi.

Kotoko reached the group stages in the CAF Confederations Cup last season.
