The Asunafo North Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Yaw Osei Boahen in his quest to ensure that traders adhere to the COVID-19 safety protocols, especially nose masks wearing, stormed business centers of Goaso municipal last week.

In the course of his visit, he distributed PPEs thus; 10,000 nose masks and 10,000 alcohol-based hand sanitizers to traders at the various Goaso lorry stations, Goaso market, mosques, churches, and other public places.

Speaking in an interview with the media, the MCE said it was important that the traders wore their nose masks to protect them from contracting pandemic coronavirus.

He declared that he was going to compel the people to adhere to the safety protocols, adding that he was going to donate some PPEs to Mim, Kasapin, Ayomso, Fawohoyeden, Akrodie, and Asumura natives after sensitizing them on the importance of putting on the nose masks.

Some market women who benefited from the donations, however, expressed many appreciations to the MCE and Government for the support bestowed on them.
