Eight players have been unveiled for the Player of the Month Award in the Month of September.

Trent Arnold Alexander of Liverpool, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal, Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City, John McGinn, Aston Villa, Leicester’s Ricardo Pereira, Son Heung-min of Spurs and Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson are the nominees for last month’s Player of The Month Award.

The votes of the public will be combined with those of the 20 club captains plus a panel of football experts to decide who wins. Teemu Pukki of Norwich City won the first edition of this year’s Player of the Month Award.

 

 

Mahrez and Kevin De Bruyne were both functioning for Manchester City against Watford and Everton.

The Algerian scored back-to-back free kicks as Man City finished September with wins over Watford and Everton and provided an assist during the month.

De Bruyne also his assists tally to eight after setting up three more goals in September. He also scored a spectacular goal in the champions' 8-0 triumph against Watford.

 

 

Trent-Arnold helped Liverpool to win their three matches last month to continue their winning run. He scored a superb freekick against Chelsea and aid his unit in recording a clean sheet against Sheffield United last week at the Bramall Lane.

Arsenal’s Aubameyang scored five goals in his four appearance last month- a double at Watford and a goal against Spurs in the North London derby.

Son was part of the Spurs team that won 4-0 over Crystal Palace. He defined two assists against Leicester and Palace conservatively whiles John McGinn netted twice against Arsenal and Burnley. Ricardo Pereira scored in Leicester’s comeback victory against Spurs and aided Leicester to keep a clean sheet after a club record victory against Newcastle United by 5-0.

Callum Wilson found the net in all of Bournemouth’s three matches in September. He scored a double against Everton, put in a decent performance plus a goal for the Cherries in their away win against Southampton and contributed to their 2-2 draw with West Ham United.
