"We, the grassroots supporters of the Parliamentary Candidate of Akuapem North Constituency, have taken notice of the blatant and malicious propaganda being peddled by Bobie Ansah, Samuel Wutor and associates , who have chosen to sacrifice their integrity and journalistic ethics for a fistful of silver.
"Let this serve as an admonition to these mercenary mouthpieces: cease and desist from your nefarious activities forthwith* !
You're not the only media guys hungry! Others have held onto their integrity and credibility," the NDC members in the statement warned.
The statement noted that their attempts to denigrate our candidate will not go unchallenged, adding that "We will not stand idly by while you sow seeds of discord and division within the rank and file of our party NDC in Akuapem North Constituency."
The statement stressed that "We urge you to make good use of the consul and reflect on the consequences of your actions. Your anti-party conduct and envy-driven rhetoric will not be tolerated.
ATTACK ON THE NATIONAL CHAIRMAN
We are once more appalled and outraged by your vicious and baseless attacks on our esteemed National Chairman, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia. Your scurrilous claims that he is not a responsible person are utterly reprehensible and will not be tolerated.
Your actions demonstrate a blatant disregard for decency, respect, and truth. Mr. Nketia is a highly respected leader and a pillar of our party, who has dedicated his life to serving our nation and our party with integrity and distinction.
We condemn your unprofessional journalism and your deliberate attempts to tarnish the reputation of our National Chairman. Your actions are a clear manifestation of your own lack of responsibility and journalistic ethics.
We demand an immediate retraction of your defamatory statements and a formal apology to Mr. Nketia and the entire NDC family. Failure to do so will leave us no choice but to take drastic measures to protect our leader's reputation and the integrity of our party.
THE GRASSROOTS
We, the grassroots supporters of the Parliamentary Candidate of Akuapem North Constituency, Hon. John Evans Kumordzi and H.E John Dramani Mahama are aware of your recent attempts to manipulate us into attacking our own party executives with alacrity.
We want to make it clear that we will not be swayed by your unprofessional journalism and divisive tactics.
We are civil people who believe in constructive dialogue and respectful discourse. We will not engage in any actions that could harm our party's unity and reputation. Your attempts to incite violence and chaos will not succeed.
We are wide awake to your schemes and will not be used as pawns in your game of propaganda. We urge you to focus on responsible journalism and constructive criticism, rather than trying to fuel conflict and division.
Use the mic and the consul to inform, educate and interact with the masses. That's the only gift you can offer and not the payola approach.
