ON the occasion of the Homowo festivities, the Ga Ga overlord, Nii Takie Adama Latse II, has sent a goodwill message to all the people in GaDangme communities in the Greater Accra Region and wishes them a peaceful Homowo celebrations.

The Ga Traditional ruler wishes all 'Afi ooo Afi' long life and prosperity.

Following this development, the king urged Gas to use this year’s Homowo festival to forge ahead in Peace and unity for accelerated development of the Ga State.

Making the call in an interaction with newsmen in Accra, Nii Latse II appealed to Gas to put the past behind them and develop the area as a united front.

Nii Latse II urged all Gas to celebrate the Homowo festival in a peaceful manner, and cautioned against unlawful acts during the celebrations.
