The Bono Regional Minister and Acting MCE for Sunyani Municipal, Madam Justina Owusu Banahene has called on residents in the region to celebrate the Easter festivities in modesty and not to trample on anyone’s right.

Speaking to Soiree News Bono Regional Correspondent, Nana Ama Asiedu while giving her Easter messages to the residents today, she urged them to stay away from trouble as the celebration is to remember the death of the saviour who rescued mankind from sin.

According to her, people of the region must show love and compassion to each other in this festive season to resemble the life of Christ, and to have the feeling and wellbeing of their neighbors at heart.

She called for strict observation of the covid-19 protocols despite the arrival of the vaccine in the region; saying the disease is still prevailing in the country. Therefore urged residents not to lose guard, but observe all the laid down protocols for their personal and family safety.

She stressed that; it will be very unfortunate for the disease to resurge after the celebration which may lead to the imposition of more restrictions on our daily lives. For that matter, she advised everyone; regardless of who has taken a shot of the vaccine or not to obey the covid-19 protocols.

She also called on drivers to drive with care to protect lives in this festive season. She urged them to obey all road traffic regulations to avoid accidents.
