Phase two of the COVID-19 vaccination exercise is expected to commence today, according to the Bono Regional Health Directorate.

The following agencies and groups have been identified to be vaccinated in the second phase; Security Services, Ghana Education Service, Tailors, Beauticians, Media, Market Queens, Traditional leaders, Religious leaders, and Pensioners.

The vaccination is scheduled to take place at the Sunyani Municipal Hospital.

Briefing the general public in an interview with Soiree  News Nana Ama Asiedu, the Bono Regional Deputy Director for Public Health, Dr. John Ekow Otoo said the Region has received a total of Four Thousand (4000) Vaccines in the second phase. Among the 4000, Dr. John Ekow Otoo said 60% has been dispatched to the Sunyani Municipal Hospital and the remaining 40% has been shared among the various District Hospital within the Region.

He is however entreating all who fall within the listed categories to avail themselves to be vaccinated.
