Cement truck kills a 17-year-old final year JHS student in Mankessim

A Final year JHS Student of the Aisha Islamic Basic School in Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region has met her untimely death after an Articulated truck loaded with cement ran over her when returning from school.
Information reveals that the 17 year - old student was crossing the road where the speeding truck knocked her down and ran over her head.
Five (5) other students who were with the deceased from the same school also got injured and were rushed to Mankessim Roman Hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses attributed the accident to the lack of Speed Ramps on the road.
A similar incident had happened on Thursday Morning when Two Students of Aisha Islamic Basic School in Mankessim were knocked down by a V8 Toyota Land cruiser.
In all 8 Students from Aisha, Islamic Basic School have been knocked down by a speeding vehicle of which one is dead and the other 6 are receiving treatment at Mankessim Roman Hospital another victim one who is in critical condition is also receiving treatment at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
