The Togo Football Federation has renewed Claude Le Roy’s contract.

Guy Akpovy of the Football Federation made the announcement on Monday and inclusive in the contract extension is Le Roy's has task to guide Togo to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and also qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Sparrows Hawks of Togo missed out in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and are grouped alongside Comoros, Kenya and Egypt in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications where they lie bottom after two games.

Togo are also in same group with Senegal, Congo and Namibia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
