Covid-19: More Treated Patients to be Discharged Soon – Dr Nsiah-Asare

Ghana’s Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr. Nsiah-Asare has revealed that more COVID-19 patients have been treated and will soon be discharged.

Though, unable to give the actual number of “successfully treated patients”, he explained that the majority of covid-19 patients at the various isolation centers have tested negative after treatment and that they are waiting for the second results of their test.

According to the Former Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), the number of people who have tested negative far outnumber the number of people who have been put out.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' program, he noted that the government will not be overwhelmed by the rising numbers of persons infected with the virus because adequate measures have been put in place to handle such cases.
