COVID-19: Nana Addo directs IGP to strictly enforce protocols
The President said the police will clamp down on activities of Pubs and night clubs defying closure directive

President Nana Akufo-Addo has on the back of the continuous of COVID-19 cases in the country, directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to ensure the rigorous enforcement of the safety protocols.
The President said, he has asked the IGP to ensure that police officers ensure the wearing of face masks in public places.
He made this known in his 22nd COVID-19 Update telecvised nationwide on Sunday night, January 17, 2021.
He said the the police service and other security services will work to ensure that night clubs, and pubs and beaches are closed down immediately.
