The Ssnit Flat District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost in Ho-Area, Pastor Daniel Kwadzo Guessou has cautioned that Christians should not celebrate the death of Jesus Christ like a traditional funeral ceremony.

As the world marked another Easter in remembrance of our Lord Jesus during the weekends, many churches were seen commemorating the day with jubilation and singing of songs of praises.

Speaking with the Ssnit Flat District Pastor in an interview, he noted that, Good Friday should not be a day of mourning Jesus Christ but a day to remember the suffering and the victory He won for us.

Pastor Daniel Kwadzo said many people wore red and black in the name of mourning which should not be encouraged because, the death of Jesus Christ brought mankind, Victory, Peace, Unity, Love, Forgiveness among others.

He however called on all Ghanaians to unite no matter their political differences and the churches to which they belong to.

The program which was climaxed on Sunday saw many new and old members of the church singing and dancing to the glory of God under strict adherence to the Covid-19 protocols.

The whole congregation including children were seen in their facemask and handwashing items were placed at every entrance of the church.

He noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus brought us together and we must exhibit that in every aspect of our lives and in our professions.
