Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams provided the basic needs of over 400 people in his vicinity in Adjrinhanor, with farmers being the major beneficiaries.

The Archbishop used his actions to support his government in the fight against the Coronavirus disease, and used his words to urge Ghanaians who are wealthy to go out and help those who have been most affected indirectly by the disease. 

Ghana has been put on a partial 14-day lockdown as a measure to curb the spread of the Coronavirus in some of its most affected Regions - indirectly affecting the means of livelihood of its citizens. 

Leader and founder of the Action Chapel International Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams used the medium to reach out to over four hundred of its members who needed food during this lockdown period and subsequently donated some food items to them.

The members of the church were divided into cell units who visited various homes of the members of the church donating bags if rice, bottles of oil, tomato paste, sardines, water amongst many other items.

Beneficiaries of the food items expressed their utmost joy and appreciation to the church for being thoughtful and taking the initiative in these trying times. Other non-ACI members, who are kin to the ACI members, could not hold back their joy as they too benefited from this kind gesture. 

 “it is very important for us to share especially to the people in our neighborhoods: the needy and the vulnerable.” 

“Let us not wait and let them come to us, let us go out and reach out to them. Let’s show love and compassion,” the Archbishop said.
