Effiakuma, Western Region Always Support Their Own - Kofi Kinaata

Kofi Kinaata has stated that his love for the people of Effiakuma is always reciprocated.

According to him, the community in the Western Region always make sure to show his massive love and support no matter what he does.

The artiste however recounted how he started as a footballer, this is why he has decided to set up the football club to give hope to players from Effiakuma after helping some of them with basic football equipment in time past.

“The initial plan was to have something for the area. I knew one or two area footballers and I wanted to have something for them – like giving them hope, so that was the initial plan.

“But I think it is now different, the people have accepted it because Effiakuma and Western Region support their own,”

Kofi Kinaata maintained that his focus is still on music as he has people handling the football club part for him.

“I have people taking care of it for me; I’m not doing it alone. So I wouldn’t say I’m doing full-time football or part-time football; what I’m giving here is not even up to a part-time. The focus is on the music and I’m doing just the finance and some few things.”

Team move FC has over a hundred players in all and this number comes with a price.

A price which Kofi Kinaata says he's helped to pay by the likes of Abdul Haye Yartey who is the owner of Cheetah FC and others.
