Daniel James celebrate after scoring at St. Mary's

Manchester United will welcome Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

United have had a rough start of the Premier League season currently occupying eight position on the table. Their first massive win against Chelsea by 4-1 was lowered by Bournemouth with a draw at the Molineux. Crystal Palace stunned the Red Devils at home before surrendering an early lead to split points with Southampton at the St. Mary’s two weeks ago.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to bounce to scoring ways after the International break starting with the Foxes. The manager could be without Aaron Wan Bissaka, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard according to the club. Bissaka was prevented from making his senior debut by the medical staff of England due to a back problem and Lingard was sent home with illness.

Paul Pogba who became the headlines of the media during the transfer window could not represent France in the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Albania or Andoria. He suffered from an ankle injury; news confirmed by the France Football Association.

Brendan Rodgers Leicester occupy the third spot of the league table with eight points. They earned back-to-back draws against Wolves and Chelsea before kicking start with wins against Sheffield and Bournemouth. Wes Morgan will be missing from Rodgers lineup nursing a back injury as Matthew James and Daniel Amartey are long-term absentees for the Leicester.

Solskjaer will be looking forward to return on winning ways thereby exploiting Daniel James and Martial to back Rashford upfront. The instable United defence in the absence of Bissaka will be addressed in his pre match conference. With the arrival of world’s most expensive player, Harry Maguire, s solution to the cracked resistance of goal last season, his partnership with Lindelof seems not to be working per the goals conceded in the opening matches. Their ability to clear danger from corners and set pieces is poor; a situation, which has caused their loss for points this season.

Manchester United will play Astana in the UEFA Europa League next week therefore a win on Saturday will ease the manager’s pressure.
