The England Male and Female Senior National team are reported to be receiving equal pay in terms of match fees and bonuses, the Football Association confirmed.

The announcement came following Brazil Football Federation’s statement that enforcement has been made to equal payment between the male and female national teams.

The FA revealed to Sky Sports News that the decision was made earlier this year and it has been in effect since January.

"This parity has been in place since January 2020," it added.

England joins Australia, Norway, New Zealand, and recently, Brazil as the body, which seeks to promote equality in the game and empower the Women Super League in the world.
