Years have been spent by academics and opinion leaders attempting to explain why Ghana's music business has turned away aspiring artists. Although the results of this type of research can vary, the bulk of them center on finance.

Flatelo proposed that Ghanaian musicians have high skill but poor moral character and attitudes toward honing their craft in order to gain further understanding of the problem.

The extremely opinionated Flatelo asserted that it is impossible to become well-known or, even worse, succeed in the music business if you maintain your modesty as an aspiring musician in the nation.

Adu Flatelo told Quoo Fante in the Kessben TV studios in Kumasi that he chose to step on the toes of well-known performers in order to break into the music industry.

He emphasized that his tactic of disparaging and attacking well-known artists like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and others has caused him to be everywhere right now.

Flatelo advised upcoming artists and underground rappers to be rough and aggressive by criticizing famous people without cause because modesty will not help them in the music business.
