King Promise is calling for a united front from all artists past and present.

While speaking on the Zone with Maame Animwaa, the Award-winning Ghanaian afro beats singer noted that veterans only give space to the artists that they like or are related to them.

According to him, it should not be so because talent is Ghanaian music needs and not familiarity or favouritism.

Regardless of familial relations or identification, industry players must come together to support each other, he maintained.

“As an industry, we need to level up, come together to support each other and treat each talent equally. Some of the older folks in the industry only support people they know, they give them opportunities. I think a free and fair supportive industry is what we need as an industry. After everything, Ghana is what we should focus on."

King Promise stated that folks must stop giving opportunities to people who they are close to and people they know rather than giving everyone the opportunity to excel.

This he noted is imperative to put Ghana back on the international stage.

The international market only recognises talent and if Ghanaians cannot put nepotism aside to bring out their best talents then it would be difficult to market Ghana's entertainment industry globally.

King Promise has been chilling with Champions League-winning striker Callum Hudson-Odoi in recent times.

They played an exhibition match with friends on Thursday night at Sakumono in Accra 24 hours after arriving in the country last week Wednesday.

Odoi is eligible to play for Ghana despite having featured for the Three Lions because of the new FIFA nationality switch rules.
