Afia Schwarzenegger has claimed that Ghanaian politicians are heavily profiting from the pandemic by playing unhealthy political games. 

She took to her Instagram page to express her displeasure at the way politicians have comported themselves, that instead of coming together for the benefit of Ghanaians in general, they have just used the situation as an opportunity to line their fat pockets.

“This is sad and insulting. The president is doing everything for this lockdown to be successful but his politicians are trying everything to make money in this pandemic. If we dnt change our ways, corruption will kill us faster than Corona. How do u lockdown someone with this amount of garbage in the name of food?? Smh,” she wrote.

She made her claims as she reacted to how food and other items are being shared to locked down citizens saying that Ghanaian politicians are making money out of the pandemic. Sharing a video on her Instagram handle, Afia Schwarzenegger described the food provided as ‘garbage’.

In her view, although the president is really trying to keep the situation under control, some of the politicians are not helping at all saying that some the appointees of the President are jeopardizing his good moves with political games.
