Market women at Goaso in the Ahafo Region have made a passionate appeal to President Nana Akufo Addo to maintain Honorable Yaw Osei Boahen as Asunafo North Municipal Chief Executive.

According to them, the appointment of Honourable Yaw Osei Boahen as MCE for the Municipal has brought a lot of relief, development and improvement of security, water and sanitation in the market in such a tensed Covid-19 era.

They praised that he has been able to help manage the novel pandemic situations in the newly created region with the various stakeholders and his good works must be rewarded with another term.

The MCE in 2018  won the best award in the then Brong Ahafo Region under performance contract signed between the government, Co-ordinating Directors and Metropolitan Municipal District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in Ghana.

They told Soireenews Ahafo Regional Correspondent Sulley Dramani in Goaso that President Akufo Addo should consider the reappointment of Honorable Osei Yaw Boahen for the reason that he has a good relationship with inhabitants and attends to the needs of market women.

Hard work earned Honorable Yaw Osei Boahen to be appointed as Dean of MMDCES in Ahafo Region.

"In the 2018 National Annual Performance Contract between MMDCEs and the Co-ordinating Directors, he was adjudged  7th and 1st in the then Brong Ahafo Region, which has contributed to a lot of development in the Municipal and unity among party members,"  they added.
