Hawa Koomson Hands Over Newly Built House to Electrocuted NPP Member

The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East constituency who doubles as Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson has handed over a newly built house to a family of the Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Atsu Nyamanyor who got electrocuted during the 2020 electioneering campaign.

Receiving the offer, Mr. Nyamanyor expressed his gratitude to the Minister and said, it is true that NPP is a party worth dying for and his household will continue to work for the party.

He said, Madam Hawa Koomson is not just MP but a true mother who always thinks about the survival of her children.

He was of the view that what the MP has done for him is beyond human comprehension and he will always promote the good deeds of the lawmaker with a good heart and in all sincerity.

On her part, Madam Hawa Koomson said, she was devastated when she heard the plight and ordeal of the young man hence the need to build a house for him as a way of showing appreciation to him for his commitment to the party.

The MP said, she is much concerned about the survival of every individual in the constituency and she is not going to leave anyone out in her quest to develop the Constituency

Koomson noted that her performance as MP will not be measured only on the numerous infrastructure projects that she is doing but the total wellbeing of the constituents hence the need to continue to support the poor and privileged in her constituency to uplift their standard of living.

The MP has promised the people especially underprivileged ones in her constituency that she will work assiduously to ensure that the constituency becomes one of the developed constituencies in this country.
