Eden Hazard has successfully undergone surgery in Dallas.

A statement released by Los Blancos on Thursday afternoon confirms the news that Dr. Eugene Curry has successfully operated on Hazards ankle.

The technical team of Madrid supervised the surgery.

 

 

“Eden Hazard has successfully undergone surgery today in Dallas on a fracture in the fibula of his right foot. The operation was supervised by Real Madrid Medical Services,” the statement read.

“Hazard will now remain under observation until he gets the all clear to being his rehabilitation process,” it added.

It is likely that he might not feature in again this season for Madrid as he focuses on recovery for the next two or three months.

The LaLiga Santander season ends on May 24, when Real Madrid play Leganes, and in that month, Los Blancos will have four other domestic matches: Athletic Club on the 3rd, Alaves on the 10th, Granada on the 13th and Villarreal on the 17th.
