Barcelona head coach, Quique Setien says he will be impressed if Neymar’s transfer to the camp Nou happens when football resumes after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The former Barca player and Brazil International has been strongly linked with a move back to Barcelona in the last 18 months after his 222 million euro transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in August 2017, which is the all-time highest fee for a soccer transfer.

With Philippe Coutinho expected to return after having failed to impress during a loan spell at Bayern Munich, the former Real Betis coach believes the services of both talent will help push the Catalans back to successful ways both in Spain, Europe and across the world.

"I like all the great players, just like I like a dozen players who are extraordinary," Setien said when asked about Neymar.

"Coutinho is a great player and I like him a lot," Setien responded when the question shifted to the midfielder.

"He is a Barcelona player; for him to leave, they would have to pay his release clause or pay an amount that would be interesting.

"I count on him being a player I can count on.

"Maybe I have to talk to him."

Lionel Messi told Mundo Deportivo earlier in the season that Barcelona are not in a position to win the Champions League this year, but Setien disagrees with his captain.

"After seeing what I have seen in football, I think we can win the Champions League," Setien explained.

"I don't agree with Leo. We've seen how Atletico have eliminated Liverpool, how Tottenham reached the final last year... For me it's more difficult to win LaLiga than the Champions League; the Champions League can be won by any of the eight teams that are there at the end.

"We have Leo, who is the best in the world, but in the Champions League, you can be unlucky, as happened against Liverpool, and you go out."
