Actress Mercy Aigbe has described her experience in her failed marriage as scars, stating that she decided that her scars would not define her.

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mercy Aigbe has reflected on how she survived domestic violence in her failed marriage to her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry.  

The light-skinned actress took to her instagram page to described her experience in her failed marriage as scars, she added that her scars would not define her.

Recall, In 2017, the news and photos of Mercy Aigbe’s husband assaulting her physically surfaced online. The pictures she released as evidence that her husband used to beat her were very gory. Many of her fans, especially women, sympathized with her.

 

 

In the same vein, after she shared a throwback picture to remember how she survived the incident yesterday, her friends and colleagues sympathised with her again and described her as a strong woman.
