Ishmael Killer's Fetish Priest at Large; Wife Arrested
The lady arrested by the police yesterday is not a fetish priestess but rather, a wife of the Fetish priest Wazinga.

Information gathered by William Ofori Akwaboa from Hwanabenya near Amanase indicates that the lady arrested by the police yesterday is not a priestess but rather a wife of a well-known Fetish priest called Wazinga from the Eastern region.
The lady in question is nursing a two weeks old baby.
According to the Unit Committee Member, Honourable Emmanuel Wiafe, the police arrested the wife of the fetish priest Wazinga, a Vodoo priest, a native of Benin who was not around during the police swoop at 14:30 pm on the 7th of April 2021.
The Unit Committee Chairman of Hwanabenya/ Amanase electoral area, Honourable Emmanuel Wiafe, indicated that the arrest incident took place at Hwanabenya precisely near Amanase, in the Suhum Municipality in the Eastern region of Ghana.
A neighbour of Hwanabenya, who witnessed the incident opined that the police were able to arrest the wife of the fetish priest of Wazinga, the name of the fetish priest known in the area is Shatta, and a hairdresser, adding that the two weeks old baby was left unattended to until a brother of the priest came for the baby about 20 minutes later but Mr Victor, the eye-witnessed could not confirm the whereabouts of the two weeks old baby.
He added that the lady arrested by the police yesterday is not a fetish priestess but rather, a wife of the Fetish priest Wazinga.
He explained further that people around prompted the police about the two weeks old baby but they turned deaf ear to their calls and left the scenes when peoples started trooping to the scene of the arrest.
Meanwhile, the voodoo fetish priest, well known in the neighbourhood as priest Wazinga is currently at large and all efforts to trace his whereabouts have proved futile.
Background
Following the death of 10-year-old boy Ishmael Mensah, who was killed by an 18 and 15 years boys in Kasoa on the 3rd of April 2021, the CID department of the Ghana Police Service has intensified a search to arrest the fetish priest upon whose request, influenced the two teen boys to kill an innocent Ishmael.
