Jose Mourinho has said that Harry Kane will be much restored in the upcoming season following his productiveness in front of goal since the return of football.

The Spurs captain scored two sensational goals on Sunday when Leicester’s fourth spot was weakened and must win against Manchester United in the final game to grasp Champions League football.

 

 

Harry Kane heroics against the Foxes saw the North London team enrolled in the Europa League spot, two points over Wolves who have a game in hand. The brace means Kane has scored four goals since the restart following months of absence since his injury against Southampton in December before the COVID-19 break.

Jose Mourinho has celebrated his performance and assured that Kane would be a better player come next season.

"I think everyone thinks he's a fantastic player and Tottenham is so lucky to have him because he's the player, the person, and the Tottenham boy," Mourinho said.

"All this together makes him really a special player for us that probably wouldn't be so special playing for another team. He's really special for us, he's really special for Tottenham.

"Of course we want him to be happy and for him to be happy he wants victories, score goals, and I'm so happy after an incredibly difficult injury he's coming in the direction where he's going to end the season perfect.

"Hopefully the beginning of next season he will be even better."
