Fans of Liberty Party of Ghana (LPG) were left stranded after they were abandoned by their flagbearer in Kumasi on Wednesday.

Percival Kofi Akpaloo was earlier sacked from the Manhyia Palace when he decided to pay a courtesy call to the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on his one day Ashanti Regional tour.

The security at Manhyia security denied Kofi Akpaloo and his members entry having refused to go according to the rules of the Palace and was dismissed from the grounds.

He trooped with his party faithful through the principal street of Ashanti New Town (Ash Town) and finally converged at Atimpinhene park’s his final words to end the tour.

After the departure of Kofi Akpaloo, his followers who have come from Bekwai, Kenyasi, Ejuratia and distance places were later seen stranded due to lack of finances to take them back to their various destination.

Some of the members turned against the leader who was out of sight and angrily chanted to vote against the Party LPG in the upcoming election for failing to cater for their fare back home.
