Krachi Residents  say no one can convince them to take Covid-19 Vaccination, not even Akufo-Addo

Residents of Krachi-East Municipal in the Oti region have expressed mixed feelings about the Covid-19 vaccine.                  

The natives say they are not certain about the authenticity of the vaccine, therefore, will not take it irrespective of whoever has taken it.

President Akufo-Addo, Former President Mahama, Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II have taken the dose but the Krachi residents and majority of the Ghanaian population say that will not entice them to take the Covid-19 vaccine.

A resident from Krachi-East, Mr. Jemba Joe in an interview with SN24 News proclaimed that though President Akufo-Addo has taken jab, that will not convince him and his family to go for it.

“Although President Akufo-Addo has taken jab that will not convince us, for me and my family, we are not going to take it". 

Some other residents also declared that they will go for the vaccination only if the top officials take their first and second doses.              

Meanwhile, the Municipal Chief Executive of Krachi-East, Chart Jilima has urged the people of the municipal to disregard all negative thoughts about the vaccine and get vaccinated.
