Kumasi-based actor, Bernard Nyarko, who recently transited into the Ministry of God has passed away, with reports suggesting that he died after being stricken with colon cancer.

Colon cancer, also known as colorectal cancer is a malignant tumor arising from the inner wall of the large intestine (colon) or rectum.

Bishop Bernard stopped acting recently after he received the news of his own ailment and dedicated the remainder of his days to spreading the word of God. The actor then proceeded to becoming a full time pastor, swearing off acting and labelling it as "filled with evil".

Shortly after his demise, it has been gathered that Bernard Nyarko died from Colon Cancer a few months after he was his disease was diagnosed. Bernard Nyarko has included in excess of 500 films and most Ghanaians will recall him for his comic and his forcefulness in acting.

Bishop Bernard Nyarko is popular for acting in Sidechic Gang in 2018 and The Hero: Service to Humanity in 2017. He is one of the most talented actors and has played many roles and has featured in many movies including Wanted and Sunsum Police. He joined the acting industry in 2012.

He has been featured in the same movies with likes of Nana Ama McBrown, Yaw Dabo, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, Mercy Aseidu, Kwaku Manu, Agya Koo, Akrobeto and various others.
