Kwahu Afram Plains South MP, DCE Donate Bags Of Cement To Support Construction Of Community Durbar Ground At Ekye-Amanfrom
In a proactive move to safeguard the people and improve their durbar ground infrastructure, the DCE in collaboration with the MP made the donation to help construct a floor pavement at their durber ground to avoid dusty and muddy nature of the durbar grounds whenever it rains.

The newly-appointed Kwahu Afram Plains South District Chief Executive (DCE) in the Eastern Region, Moses Tangbeh and Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Joseph Appiah have jointly donated a total of 116 bags of cement to swiftly respond social infrastructure needs of the people at Ekye-Amanfrom.

The donation of the bags of cement was done at the funeral rite of a prominent personality in the area which brought together traditional leaders and community members, all of whom expressed their deep appreciation for the DCE's timely intervention.
Addressing the gathering the newly-appointed DCE of the area, Moses Tangbeh reiterated the importance of creating a secure and conducive environment for the people of Kwahu Afram Plains South District.
He emphasized the necessity of his commitment to the growth of the district stressing that the donation is part of his broader commitment to support communities across the district, assuring them of his continuous support.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the tradtional authority, the Committee Chairman of Ekye-Amanfrom, Mr. Manaseh Kwasi Owusu
commended the DCE and MP for honouring their promise to the people of Ekye-Amanfrom.
He noted that the gesture demonstrates their responsiveness and dedication to the community’s development needs, and assured the DCE and MP for the timely completion of the construction project.
For his part, the Odikro of Ekye-Amanfrom, Nana Asante Fodjour ll, expressed his appreciation to the MP and DCE for their support.
The tradtional nleader appealed for further support from other stakeholders to enhance the growth of the the community.
According to him, the the DCE's efforts to support the community have been widely recognized within the district with many describing him as a results-oriented leader who prioritizes the needs of his people.
He noted, the donation not only addresses an immediate infrastructural need of the people in the community but also symbolizes a collaborative spirit between the DCE and traditional leadership.
