The Member of parliament for Fomena Constituency, Lawyer Andrews Amoako Asiamah has, for the first time since his appointment as second deputy speaker of parliament reacted and it was full of praise for God and his constituents for bestowing trust in him.

On a Facebook post sighted by Soireenews, the lawmaker was full of praise for the maker of the universe, God for such Grace which has made him as the second deputy speaker of Ghana's parliament.

He went ahead to thank the people of Fomena and promised to embark on infrastructural development for the benefit of his people.

"My people in Fomena constituency, May God bless you so much," the statement added.

"May this new appointment brings us all, hope and development and may the God of light, who is infinite in mercy and grace grant us all wisdom and courage to work together to serve our motherland, Ghana, and Fomena Constituency. 

"God bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong," he added.
