Liverpool are in prime position to sign Napoli’s ‘rock of Gibraltar’, Kalidou Koulibaly according to Le10Sport.

The Senegalese was sought by Paris St. Germain but reports suggests that the French champions have dropped their interest in the 28-year defender.

Manchester United was also reported by the French outlet to be seeking for the signature of the Koulibaly yet it seem their competitors have surpassed them as Napoli appear to be interested in the Reds bid so far.

Jurgen Klopp seeks to strengthen his defense and add more depth to his squad for the upcoming season after an impressive form in the 2019 – 2020 Premier League campaign which has given them a 25-point lead. The Reds would be Champions had it not been the coronavirus pandemic which has forced all European leagues to go on leave.
