Zidane will miss Real Madrid’s La Liga fixture with Osasuna on Saturday after testing positive for coronavirus, Marca has confirmed.

The manager was in contact with someone who has tested positive with the virus and is self-isolating at home having earlier tested negative in both an antigen and a PCR test.

He was absent on Thursday at training at the Valdebebas and will have to undergo two weeks of self-isolation although the number of days could reduce to 10 if he comes out with negative PCR tests.

The French man will also miss the Thursday’s Supercopa de Espana semifinal against Athletic Club and would be available in the Supercopa final should the Los Blancos win against Marcelino’s side and the manager record a negative result.
