Fella Makafui has proclaimed that Medikal is the artiste of the year.

The movie actress and entrepreneur, who is married to the artiste, says her husband's hard work in 2020 is far better than any other Ghanaian artiste.

“I've seen my husband putting in so much this year, seen him record the whole day, sometimes he comes to bed 3 am all because of his craft. I’m proud of you, proud of all that you have achieved so far and the ones you yet to. You are so hardworking and you inspire me.“ She wrote.

Medikal has released no less than 10 certified hits in the year 2020.

Tracks that featured all other superstars from the different genre scenes on Ghana; Mr Drew, Fameye, Kuami Eugene, Joey B, Kofi Mole, just to mention a few.

Medikal, who married Fella Makafui on the 7th of March 2020, released an album tagged 'Island' in the year 2020.

He won both the Hip-life song of the Year and the Hip Hop artiste of the year awards at the VGMA while also bagging other nominations.

Medikal and Sarkodie had the highest nominations for the 2017 edition of the Ghana Music Awards In 2018, he was on the Tim Westwood Show.

He has made a name for himself in the music industry through hard work and his numerous collaboration with successful artists. Apart from is nominations in 2017, he won the best discovery video in the MTN 4Syte Video Award in 2016
