Shatta Wale's manager, Bulldog has divulged that his beefs with the late Fennec Okyere were planned by the both of them to make each other more popular exposing that they would go on radio stations to abuse each other just to gain more fans across the music scene.

The artiste manager explained this in the light of the fact that he was the prime suspect after the death of Fennec Okyere. Unfortunately, for him, he went on national television to threaten Fennec Okyere as usual just before his death.

The "stage antic" later led to his arrest amidst the police investigation. Bulldog maintained that the insults he and Fennec Okyere launched at each other were just in a bid to remain prominent as artiste’s managers and to promote their respective clients.

He noted that people were not aware of his collaboration with Fennec, so it was understandable that they blamed him for his death.

The CEO of Bullhaus explained that they always planned on the things that they'd say before they went on air, with each one taking an opposite role just to make it seem like they disliked each other. He disclosed that even if he was absent from a show, Fennec would call him and tell him all the details of the abuses that he launched at him so he could prepare and reply on the shows that he was going to appear on.

“I had a friend Fennec Okyere who was also an artist manager. They said I was the prime suspect when he was killed. We had a planned “beef” to remain relevant as artiste’s managers but we were friends.

“What we used to do was if we are going on radio, we discuss the tangent both sides will go so that we can attack each other and create a perception in the minds of the people. Sometimes even when I’m not on the show he will attack me and later call me to tell me what transpired so that if i also appear on another show I can fire him too.”
