The Northern Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Salam Ahmed has enjoined the Muslim community to show their gratefulness to Allah for a successful Ramadan and showing them his goodness in today's Eid ul- fir celebration.

He said, while Muslims are enjoying, they should also remember the less privileged people in the society and should not lose sight of the existing directives and safety health protocols recommended to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sheikh Abdul Salam Ahmed said though the COVID-19 situation had created unusual times, particularly during this Eid ul-Fitr, Muslims must remain disciplined by observing the protocols, especially during the performance of the ablution before prayers.

He prayed for the country and the region as well that they should be peace stability in the country and in the region.

The Regional Imam advised through his personal aid, Alhaji Abdullai Habibu.
