Northern Regional Minister Designate Begins Familiarization Visit To Traditional Rulers

A week after his appointment, the Northern Regional Minister-Designate, Alhaji Shani Alhassan on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, began visitation to eminent traditional rulers in the Region.
The visitation was aimed to introduce himself to the traditional rulers about his elevation to the high office of the Region, as customs of Dagbon demands.
At the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi, the overlord of Dagbon Ya-Na Abubakar II blessed the Minister-designate and tasked him to lobby for the needed development to the Region.
He further assured him the traditional area support any time the needs arise.

Alhaji Shani Alhassan was accompanied by the Northern Regional Chairman of NPP and other executives of the party.
The Minister Designate and his team also visited other Chiefs including the Mion-Lana, Gusheigu, Sunsong and the Chief of Saboba.
