NSA notice the Public on the Temporal close down of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium
The close down is to give way to renovate the infrastructure ahead of Ghana's 63rd Independence Day in the capital of the Ashanti Region

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has noticed the public on the temporal closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The shutdown is to prepare the venue towards the hosting of Ghana’s 63 rd Independence Anniversary Celebration in the Ashanti Region.

In a statement signed by the Ashanti Regional Director, Edmond Appiah yesterday, February 17, 2020, the decision “is to enable the Youth and Sports Ministry and the National Sports Authority have ample uninterrupted time to fix critical places of the stadium before the celebration of Ghana’s 63 rd Independence Anniversary Celebration.”
The statement further revealed that information would be conveyed on when football and athletics activities will resume at the venue.
