Hearts of Oak Supporters Chief, Elvis Herman Hesse has kicked against the idea of resuming the Ghana League season behind closed doors.

According to reports in the media, the Ghana Football Association is considering continuing the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season behind closed doors.

The FA is said to have informed the government on continuing the season behind closed doors in a meeting held last week.

"I don't support the idea of playing behind closed doors. Maybe I will get the opportunity to watch but playing behind closed doors is a no for me", Herman Hesse said in an interview with the media.

He also disclosed his love for the Ghana Football Association on their decision not to voiding the current season as speculations claim with some stakeholders encouraging such a decision instead he called for an update on the latest progress of the campaign to the various league clubs.

"The FA shouldn't cancel the season but they should rather engage the clubs on the way forward. It will be better to cancel the season than playing the game behind closed doors," he added.

The 2019/20 Ghana Premier League has been suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
