Premier League coaches have asked for more time to engage players in a concentrated training before getting back on the pitch to finish the remaining 92 matches.

The English league has been scheduled for a restart on June 12 after it went on break two months ago due to the threatening coronavirus pandemic.

The Times reported on Thursday that the managers consider the fixed date too hasty and have asked for more time to prepare after longer days off the pitch stressing their concern on the risk of injuries likely to be incurred with limited training.
