Lydia Forson has called out the agenda politicians have against women in their recent attacks on #FixTheCountry campaigners.

The politically vocal actress stated that politicians are only deliberately attacking the female celebrities in the movement use their past as an excuse to rubbish the movement.

According to her, none of the politicians have said anything bad against the men involved in the movement even though it was a guy that started the movement.

She took to her Twitter page, a recent avenue that she has been using to voice out all her complaints, to "unveil the evil plan" in reply to comments made by Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, which insinuated that the #Fixthecountry movement is being led by a group of ‘cheap’ Ghanaian slay queens who have been jilted by NPP ‘big men’.

“The #FixTheCountry campaign is being led by slay queens who say the men in the NPP don’t pay. Why should I pay such monies to you? Whilst, I’m sitting here, I’ve a lot on my mind I want to do so why will I waste my money on you? They are even cheap too, they sit in planes and display their Gucci bags.”

He vented that the advocates whom he described as ‘Slay Queens’ are championing the #FixTheCountry course since NPP politicians nowadays would rather invest their money than spend on them.

Lydia Forson has been quick to disagree with the claim.

She maintained that the movement is for all of Ghana and to see positive changes for everyone.

“Why do these politicians skip past men and come straight for women whenever they want to attack. This movement, to the best of my knowledge, was started by a young man. (correct me if I’m wrong) Several men have been equally vocal about it. Why are the women under scrutiny?” she concluded.
