Philippe Coutinho might finally end up in the Premier League as Arsenal and Chelsea are still in contention to sign the out of favor Barcelona star.

Mikel Arteta and Frank Lampard are keen on adding the former Liverpool man to their squads ahead of next season after Bayern's interest of activating a permanent move for the player was discarded with one key reason relating to injury.

Coutinho is recovering from setback damage sustained from his surgery whiles recovering and will be out of action for two another two weeks which occupies him from featuring in some of Bayern’s remaining fixtures in the Bundesliga although he has a chance of been involved in the last four games and the Champions League fixtures which will take place in August.

He still has a three-year contract with the Catalans and is reported to be earning £250,000 per week, which is affecting the Spanish club hence the decision to sell the player.

A host of English clubs have shown concern to require the services of the ‘little magician’ yet the price tag scares them off with Barca expecting not less than 100m euros for the sale of Coutinho.

Having played less and his career obstructed by injury, the Brazilian’s transfer value will drop and Barca will have to accept that if they want to get him off their wage bill which puts Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, and Tottenham in a better position to secure the services of the former Liverpool player.
