The Premier League fixtures were announced on Wednesday morning and thrilling games are revealed on Matchday 1.

Manchester City are titleholders and it will take fierce competition between Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea to deny the Citizens a sixth Premier League trophy.

Brentford, Norwich and Watford gained promotion from the Championship into the Premier League and all have crunchy opening fixtures on August 14.

Norwich City will open their account with a visit to Anfield to play former Champions, Liverpool. The Reds 2019/20 Premier League season was successful following a 4-1 win at Anfield in the opening fixture and fans have memories of that.

Watford play Aston Villa at Vicarage Road whiles Brentford, playing the Premier League for the first time in their history after winning the Championship play-off final, will host Arsenal in a London derby.

Chelsea will host Crystal Palace and Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will travel to Old Trafford to play Manchester United.

Champions, Manchester City will be guests to London for Spurs to pursue the defence of their title.
