Real Madrid are considering moving to the Wanda Metropolitano, the home of their rivals to be able to accommodate thousands of fans next season.

The Estadio Bernabeu is still under construction and an extended period away from completion means Los Blancos have to rely on the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, yet the venue is not encouraging to contain 20,000 to 30,000 fans.

That leaves them no option but to share venue with the Laliga champions, Atletico Madrid.

With the club suffering from economic hardships and fans gradually allowed into match venues, Real Madrid would like to take advantage of the financial crises and play at the home of their city rivals.

The club is not willing to rush back to the Bernabeu and per reports by Marca, they are aiming to return to their home between September and October and have asked LaLiga to adjust the calendar at the start of next season so that they can play as many away matches as possible after the projected August 13 start.

The two clubs are very cordial and reports suggest that Atletico Madrid are willing to allow Los Blancos to play at the Wanda Metropolitano.
